Description
A quick, 5-minute active time no-bake snack featuring mini pretzels topped with a creamy peanut butter mixture and dipped in chocolate. Perfect for lunchboxes, after-school snacks, or late-night cravings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz mini pretzels (twist-style)
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (room temperature)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
- Sea salt flakes (optional)
- Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat and place it in the freezer.
- In a medium bowl, combine the softened peanut butter, softened butter, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and well combined.
- Take about 1 teaspoon of the peanut butter mixture and press it onto one end of a mini pretzel. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Alternatively, use a double boiler.
- Using a fork, dip each peanut butter-topped pretzel into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off. Place back on the baking sheet.
- Sprinkle with sea salt or sprinkles if desired.
- Freeze for 10-15 minutes until the chocolate is completely set.
- Transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator or freezer.
Notes
Ensure peanut butter and butter are at room temperature for easier mixing. Do not overload the pretzel with peanut butter to prevent sliding. If chocolate is too thick, add a teaspoon of coconut oil or vegetable shortening. Store in the freezer for up to 3 months or refrigerator for up to 1 week.
